When you tap Find my council in the Bindicator app, it automatically downloads your bin schedule from your council's website. This is powered by hacs-waste-collection-schedule, a free open-source project maintained by volunteers worldwide.
Don't see your council? You can still use Bindicator. Just enter your schedule manually in the app. Set your bin colours, collection days, and whether it's weekly or fortnightly. It takes about 2 minutes and works exactly the same way afterwards. The automatic lookup is a convenience, not a requirement.
